La personne recrutée enseignera majoritairement les neurosciences, et la physiologie du comportement aux étudiants de la Licence de Psychologie (de L1 à L3). Des enseignements d’éthologie seront également à dispenser en Master d’Éthologie. Le.la candidat.e sera amené.e à enseigner en français et éventuellement en anglais.

Les candidat.e.s devront avoir un dossier scientifique d’un excellent niveau en biologie du comportement ou dans une discipline proche. La personne recrutée devra développer un programme de recherche innovant en éthologie s’articulant avec les lignes de recherche du LEEC, telles que le comportement social, la communication et la cognition, les différences comportementales interindividuelles ou les stratégies reproductives. Une priorité sera donnée aux candidat.e.s dont l’activité de recherche concerne les invertébrés, notamment les insectes sociaux et les polychètes hermaphrodites.

Job profile: The teaching activity related to this position will be assigned to the Teaching Department of Psychophysiology and research activities will be assigned to the Laboratory of Experimental and Comparative Ethology UR 4443 (LEEC), UFR LLSHS, Université Sorbonne Paris Nord.
Teaching: Teaching concerns the disciplines of ethology and neurosciences, both at the level of Bachelor in Psychology and of Master in Ethology. The candidate is required to teach in French and possibly in English.
Research: Applicants should have a strong international track record in behavioural biology or related disciplines. The successful candidate will be expected to develop an innovative research program in ethology corresponding to the lines of research of the LEEC, such as to social behaviour, communication and cognition, individual differences in behaviour, or reproductive strategies. Priority will be given to candidates whose research activity concerns invertebrates, such as social insects or hermaphroditic polychaetes.
